We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing & Procurement Manager to lead marketing initiatives while overseeing procurement operations. This dual-role position requires strong analytical skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to align purchasing strategies with marketing and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be both creative and operationally disciplined, capable of driving brand growth while ensuring cost-effective sourcing and supply management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage advertising campaigns, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to guide strategy.
- Coordinate product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor marketing budgets and measure ROI.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance teams.
- Prepare reports on marketing performance and procurement metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in agronomy, marketing, procurement, or a similar role.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, and agricultural products.
- Proven sales or account management experience, preferably in agriculture.
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide practical agronomic recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, during peak planting and harvesting seasons, and outside of normal hours throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
